The Winchester Orchestra kicks off its season with two concerts Sept. 18 at Trinity Episcopal in San Jose and the 19th at West Valley College doing Schubert, Mozart and Shostakovich. Mission Chamber Orchestra will light up the Petite Trianon in San Jose with its Adventures in Elegance program featuring Sandra Wright Shen on piano. That takes place on Sept. 20.
