The theme of Week 5 was “My Most Memorable Year” on DWTS, and it was a doozy! OMG, there were rivers of tears by both the celebs, the judges and the audience, and I can’t imagine how many boxes of tissues were used. The night started off with violinist Andre Rieu and his 60-piece orchestra playing while the pros waltzed in formal dress beneath huge chandeliers. It was classy, gorgeous and set the tone for the show. The celebs and pros were determined to take their dancing to another level, and they succeeded. The judges did not give a score lower than 8 out of 10, and race car driver James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess topped it all with two 10s and a 9 for an almost-perfect 29 out of 30.

A few things that wouldn’t fit on the sign: Katelyn was born in San Jose at 9:37 p.m. last Tuesday. She weighed 6 pounds, 1/4 ounce, was 19 1/2 inches long and can really wail, though mostly she gurgles. Mother and Father are tickled pink and have not decided what their next sign might say. “In a week, I might just paint them white,” George said of his sheep. “Then I don’t know. There are a couple of ideas I’ve got.”. Watch that space. 2003: Ten years after the original sign.
